At Husband Wife Farm, we believe that producing high-quality herbal powders starts long before the powder reaches the packaging stage. Our process begins in our own fields and continues through careful washing, controlled drying and gentle grinding.
Once freshly harvested herbs reach our processing facility, they are thoroughly washed in dedicated washing tanks to remove soil, dust and other unwanted particles. Proper washing is an important step in maintaining cleanliness and preparing the herbs for the next stage of processing.
After washing, the herbs are transferred for drying. We use a large solar drying facility covering approximately 240 square meters with a height of around 20 feet. The covered solar drying area allows us to dry herbs in a controlled environment while reducing direct exposure to harsh sunlight.
For situations where faster and controlled drying is required, we also use a separate electric dryer. This gives us greater control over the drying process and helps us process herbs efficiently while maintaining consistent handling standards.
Once the herbs are properly dried, they are ground into powder using our pulverizer equipped with cyclone technology. The cyclone system helps manage the movement of the material and reduces excessive heat buildup during grinding, helping us produce a fine herbal powder without unnecessary heating.
Our Complete Herbal Processing Process
1. Harvesting Fresh Herbs
Our journey begins in the fields. Herbs are harvested carefully and brought to our processing facility for further handling.
2. Thorough Washing in Washing Tanks
Freshly harvested herbs can carry soil, dust and natural field particles. We therefore thoroughly wash the herbs in dedicated washing tanks before drying.
This step helps us maintain a clean processing workflow and prepares the herbs for controlled drying.
3. Controlled Solar Drying
After washing, the herbs are spread and transferred to our large covered solar drying area.
Our solar drying facility covers approximately 240 square meters and has a height of approximately 20 feet. The covered design provides a dedicated environment for drying herbs while helping protect them from direct exposure to harsh outdoor conditions.
We focus on controlled handling rather than simply drying the herbs as quickly as possible.
4. Electric Dryer for Faster and Controlled Drying
Along with solar drying, Husband Wife Farm has a separate electric drying system.
The electric dryer helps us process herbs efficiently when controlled and faster drying is required. It provides an additional drying option and helps us maintain consistency in our processing workflow.
5. Grinding with Cyclone Technology
Once the herbs are properly dried, they are sent to our pulverizer for grinding.
Our pulverizer uses cyclone technology, which helps in efficient movement and separation of the powdered material during grinding. One important advantage of this system is that it helps reduce excessive heat buildup during pulverization.
This is particularly important for herbal powders because we want to avoid unnecessary heating during the grinding stage.
6. Fine Herbal Powder
After pulverization, the finished powder is checked and prepared for the next stage of processing and packaging.
