Thorough Washing of Shatavari Roots

At Husband Wife Farm, the roots are thoroughly washed in dedicated washing tanks before they are taken for drying.

This washing stage is an important part of our processing process and helps prepare the roots for further handling.

Drying Shatavari

After washing, the Shatavari roots need to be dried properly before grinding.

At Husband Wife Farm, we have a dedicated covered solar drying setup covering approximately 240 square metres and around 20 feet in height. The covered environment allows us to dry herbs without leaving them directly exposed to harsh sunlight.

We also have a dedicated electric drying system that can be used when faster and controlled drying is required.

The drying stage is continued until the roots are sufficiently dry for further processing.

Grinding Shatavari Into Powder

Once properly dried, the Shatavari roots are processed using suitable grinding equipment to convert them into a fine herbal powder.

The dried roots are pulverized carefully to achieve a convenient powder form.

The finished powder is then packed appropriately to help protect it from moisture and contamination during storage and transportation.
